Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.

Named after the unique Weka bird of New Zealand. The bird is feisty and inquisitive in nature and forms part of Maori folk law, it is often found close to vineyards.

This premium New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and zesty with pronounced aromas and flavours of passion fruit, citrus and lime zest and a long, lingering finish.

Cool fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks and uses specially selected yeasts, which enhance the wines natural aromatics. The resulting wine was aged on its fine lees to add richness. Approximately 5% of the wine was also aged in French oak barrels, which adds complexity and balance to this top quality wine.

A treat with fish and seafood. Perfect with herby sauces like pesto pasta, and also Asian inspired dishes.
